Skyline Business Law is the continuation of work that founding attorney Omar Sharif began in 2014 when he co-founded Tumer & Sharif Law Firm. After more than a decade of representing small and mid-sized California businesses, Omar established Skyline as a dedicated practice serving the same clients with the same focus: protecting California businesses, their owners, and the families behind them.
Omar's path to law began at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 2004. Before law school, he served in the Peace Corps in Uganda in 2008, advising a Member of Parliament on community business development, work that applied basic legal and structural thinking to help entrepreneurs in resource-constrained environments build sustainable enterprises. The experience shaped his interest in serving small and mid-sized businesses, the people behind them, and the communities they support.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California in 2013, and was admitted to the California State Bar that same year. Since then, his practice has been continuously focused on California business law and the businesses, families, and individuals it serves.
Omar is a native English speaker and conversant in العربية (Arabic), an asset for clients in California's Arabic-speaking business community across hospitality, retail, professional services, and import & export.

Prior to law school, Omar interned with California law firms and the United States Small Business Administration.
